WidgetBucks – Another monetization tool (and another $25 for free)
By Marques • Oct 2nd, 2007 • Category: Blogging, InternetAdvertising tools seem to be the new trend in internet marketing these days. And the more interactive the better.
WidgetBucks is the newest one on the market and, actually, it looks very nice.
Similar to Chitika eMinimalls, WidgetBucks lets you choose between categories and sub-categories and displays relevant product advertisements. Customization is still very basic (colors mostly) and only has 5 different ad sizes to choose from, but I’m expecting this to change with time.
In action, it looks like this:
I don’t know if it isn’t too much animated and distracting for the eyes of visitors but I’ll give it a try and see how it performs.
Since you choose the categories, it can’t really be considered contextual and thus you can use it alongside AdSense.
The revenue is generated on a “per click” basis (PPC), again similar to eMinimalls. Payout is set at $50, so not so hard to reach.
And better yet, to help you reach that first payout, WidgetBucks is giving $25 to everyone who registers today.
So, head over to WidgetBucks and create an account. You have nothing to loose and $25 are guaranteed.
