iTunes traffic increases 48%

According to Nielsen//Netratings, the iTunes traffic has reached 29.72 million unique visitors in the first 3 months of the year. This corresponds to a 48% increase when compared with the 20.1 million for the same period in 2006.

Following the same trend, Apple Store saw a 30% increase in unique visitors, from 3.5 million in the first trimester of 2006 to 4.5 million unique visitors in the homologous period of 2007.
All seems to go well for Steve Jobs, at least concerning web traffic.

Maybe the purchase rate of Ipod have increased too ?
That is for sure… I don’t have actual numbers with me, but you won’t have one increase that big if not boosted by iPod users.
