Firefox Hacks - Group Writing Project

Slowly, the mighty Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is surrendering it’s kingdom to Firefox fans.
If you compare both internet browsers, you’ll find out that Firefox has many advantages over IE and over many of the other browsers in the market:
- Free
- More secure
- More user friendly
- Allows integration of user-developed applications
- …
The Motivation
Once in a while you see tips and tricks for Firefox use being posted around a multitude of blogs. Whether it’s simple tips for a better browsing experience to explanations of complex extensions, these articles are just another proof that FireFox is here to rule.
Since I’m a Firefox user and really enjoy reading and learning more about my favorite browser and also sharing what I’ve learned about it, I decided to create the Firefox Hacks group writing project and challenge all the bloggers out there to write something about how to increase the functionality of Firefox or just any tip to improve the use of this browser.
Instructions
- Write a post on your blog that shares some Firefox tip or hack (suggestions of use, extensions, or just why Firefox is the best browser out there). DEADLINE: October 12th.
- Drop a comment in this post with the permalink to your post or contact me with this information.
- A few days after the deadline, I’ll publish a listing of all the participating blogs (and their posts, obviously). At your consideration you can reprint the list on your blog or just mention your favorite posts.
If you are a Firefox user, or know some very nice hacks for it, don’t hesitate. You’ll share knowledge that may be interesting to your readers and you’ll probably get linked by a good number of the participating blogs. Nothing to loose…
Also, feel free to post about this group writing project.
